It's official: men and women have different rules for dating game!

Melbourne, January 20 (ANI): The two sexes have very different checklists for potential partners, a new study has revealed.

According to the study of the online activity of more than 101,000 members of online dating site eHarmony, men are attracted to social butterflies and turned off by female volunteers while the opposite is true for women.

Top turn-offs for men were women who enjoyed the computer, reading, watching television or going to the movies, while women weren't drawn to men who went out too much, shopped or played sport.

The site's relationship expert, Dr Gian Gonzaga, said women tend to seek men who were kind, intelligent and loyal, while men preferred active and social partners.

"Men who volunteer possess qualities that are important to women, like kindness, which is why this resonates so highly with women," the Daily Telegraph quoted Dr Gonzaga as saying.

"On the flip side, women also want someone who is loyal to them, and a man who is always at the bar may be perceived as more loyal to his mates," Gonzaga added. (ANI)
