London, Jun. 3 (ANI): Scientists from the UK have developed a 33p-a-day "superfoods" pill that they claim is a powerful cancer-buster.
The pill has various ingredients including pomegranate, green tea, turmeric and broccoli, the Daily Express reported.
The study - conducted by Professor Robert Thomas, a consultant at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge and at Bedford Hospital - of 203 men suffering from prostate cancer showed that men taking the twice-daily capsule had 63 percent less prostate-specific antigen - an indicator of the disease.
Thomas designed the pill Pomi-T with the National Cancer Research Institute. (ANI)
