Now, $15m yacht that can be controlled by iPad

Washington, July 8 (ANI): A new 15-million-dollar yacht that looks better suited to the sky than the sea can be controlled by an iPad.

With her curved 'wings,' long pointed nose, just a few square meters of the vessel touched the water surface, allowing it to skim across the waves.

The innovative design, along with high-tech features like an iPad-controller, helped the vessel 'Adastra' win three prizes at last week's prestigious ShowBoats Design Awards in Monaco, including Best Naval Architecture, CNN reported.

Billionaire shipping magnate Anton Marden is believed to own the 42.5-meter vessel, which took more than five years to design and build.

The Hong Kong-based magnate and his wife Elaine can remotely control their luxury yacht from up to 50 meters away, simply by sweeping their hand over an iPad. (ANI)
