Musharraf says Pak would have seen positive change had he been in Kayani's place

Dubai, Jan. 16 (ANI): Former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf has said that had he been in place of Army Chief General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani, Pakistan would have seen a positive change.

Describing the long march by Tahirul Qadri as "successful", Musharraf said he had been extending full cooperation to Qadri from the very first day. He added that it is a good omen that Qadri has raised voice in support of people's rights, reports the Daily Times.

The sitting rulers had lost their popularity, he said, adding they had no right to rule the country nor had they capability to run it.

Musharraf said he hopes that people will hold the present rulers accountable. He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has no potential to pull the country out of the crisis and only people can bring about change in the country. (ANI)
