Murray says Lendl helping him to deal with 'defending champion' pressure

London, Aug 30 (ANI): Defending US Open Champion Andy Murray has said that he has spoken to his coach Ivan Lendl about coming back to a tournament being defending champion and it did not really make much difference to other players.

According to The Daily Star, the Brit played his first match as a defending Slam champion in the early hours of yesterday morning in the first round of the US Open.

Murray said that the players never went about saying a player had a chance of winning again because he was defending champion, adding that they did not really care while stepping on court.

However, the Wimbledon Champion said that it was good to have his experienced coach around to talk him through with these things. (ANI)
