Mumbai Indians likely to boot out Bhajji

Harbhajan one among several players to be released by IPL franchises.

Bhajji: A free bird away from Nita Bhaabi's clutches.MUMBAI: Mumbai Indians skipper Harbhajan Singh is likely to be released by his franchise ahead of the 2013 season. Harbhajan and Kings XI Punjab's Stuart Broad are the two major players who are expected to be released by their purchasers in keeping with the IPL authorities October 31 deadline.

Mumbai Indians are relinquishing their star bowler, who had also led them to the 2011 CLT20 title, to swell their purse in preparation for the players' auction.

England's Broad meanwhile is likely to be made to wait more for his IPL debut. The pace bowler missed the previous two seasons and is likely to be dropped by Kings XI Punjab for IPL-6 since his National commitments will clash with the season.

Kings XI have also decided to offload six more cricketers, namely Abhishek Nayar, Ramesh Powar, Australia's Nathan Rimmington and James Faulkner, Paras Dogra and Vikramjeet Malik.

Sourav Ganguly has withdrawn from the next IPL. The Pune Warriors captain will join five more players in the exodus, the chief among these being Jesse Ryder.
