Agra, Sept 10 (ANI): Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Tuesday claimed that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi will not succeed in his Prime Ministerial ambitions as a Third Front will get majority in the 2014 general elections.
Yadav also categorically made it clear that he was not a Prime Ministerial candidate.
"I am not a Prime Ministerial candidate. Narendra Modi will not succeed as a Third Front will get majority in coming Lok Sabha elections. There is every possibility of formation of the third front after the election results are announced," he told media here.
Yadav further said that the Samajwadi Party would contest the 2014 elections in Mamata Banerjee-ruled West Bengal also.
Narendra Modi, who has been elevated as the BJP's campaign committee chief, has begun the task of wooing the common man ahead of the assembly elections in four states of the country and the 2014 Lok Sabha polls.
Modi, considered by many to be the BJP's face for 2014, has off-late been critical of the Congress-led UPA II Government's policies and programmes. The BJP's star campaigner has also raked up the issue of Telangana and the rampant corruption in the recent days to highlight the UPA's failure. (ANI)
