Muamba says training for Strictly Come Dancing hardest thing since recovery

London, Nov 24(ANI): Heart-attack survivor Fabrice Muamba has said training for celebrity dance show, Strictly Come Dancing, is the hardest thing has done since recovering from the fatal cardiac arrest.

The 24-year-old, who eight months ago collapsed in front of horrified fans in the middle of a televised football match after suffering a cardiac arrest, has made an astonishing recovery and is now preparing to star in Strictly Come Dancing's Christmas.

The former Bolton Wanderers star's partner will be professional dancer Aliona Vilani.

Muamba retired from football in the summer on the advice of doctors after his collapse during an FA Cup game, and was fitted with a pacemaker, and he admits his Strictly practice sessions were taking their toll.

"This is definitely the hardest thing I have done since my recovery," the Daily Mail quote Muamba, as saying.

"I'm feeling good now. I've already been training with Aliona for a week and there are no complaints. But I have a new respect for dancers. I have always been a massive fan of Strictly so it is a pleasure to take part," he added. (ANI)
