With the 10tth edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 beginning on Wednesday, the IPL Fantasy team has been doing rounds and is one mind of most of the fans, as well as the players. Meanwhile, Indian and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on Tuesday came up with his IPL Fantasy team, which he announced on Twitter, and has a few notable omissions. The omissions were none other than his RPS and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate MS Dhoni, and his Indian teammate Virat Kohli. The four foreign players in his team were Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Mustafizur Rahman and Ben Stokes. IPL 2017: KL Rahul, Ravichandran Ashwin, Murali Vijay set to miss out
With the Indian players coming off a along and tiring home season of international cricket, it seems like the long season has taken a toll on these Indian players, as they are most likely to miss out of the upcoming 10 edition of the biggest Indian Twenty20 (T20) league, the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, due to extensive physical strain. With Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli already being ruled out of the initial stages for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), owing to a shoulder injury he suffered during the 3rd Test at Dharamsala, against Australia, in the just concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Also KL Rahul will be missing out entirely for RCB owing to a shoulder injury, which he will be getting operated in London. As a result, RCB would be lead by South Africa’s AB de Villiers during Kohli’s absence, while RCB will get their things underway on the opening day of the tournament on April 5 against the defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Hyderabad.
