Islamabad, Aug 20 (ANI): Pakistan cricket team's newly appointed manager Moin Khan has said that he will not refrain from criticizing the team but will provide inputs in team matters whenever necessary.
According to The Daily Times, Khan said that criticism was natural when the performance of team was not good and if coach Dav Whatmore still does not perform, he would continue doing it.
The former player said that now he was the manager and head of the selection committee on tour and he would interfere in every aspect but only when things would no go according to the plan.
Khan said that the major reason for the criticism was to improve things and being a former cricketer for Pakistan, it was his moral duty to give constructive criticism.
Expressing confidence in the team selected to face Zimbabwe over August and September in two Tests, three ODIs and two Twenty20s, Moin added there would be repercussions if the players did not maintain proper conduct while on tour, the report said.
Khan said that it was a sensible team and there was a need of creating a sense of responsibility around players. (ANI)
