Modi arrives in Delhi for BJP-RSS Coordination Committee meeting

New Delhi, Aug. 1 (ANI): Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi arrived in the national capital on Thursday to attend the BJP-RSS Coordination Committee meeting.

The top brass of BJP and RSS will meet here today to brainstorm on their strategy for the upcoming general elections.

The meeting takes place at a time when there are speculations that Modi, who has been appointed as the BJP's campaign committee chief for the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, may be announced as his party's Prime Ministerial candidate soon.

According to certain media reports, Modi could be appointed as the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate as early as September.

The BJP wants to cash in on Modi's popularity in the assembly elections in four big states at the end of this year. (ANI)
