Michael Vaughan forced to face Latin nightmare on 'Strictly'

London, Nov. 29 (ANI): Michael Vaughan's chances of winning 'Strictly Come Dancing' were dealt a severe blow, after show bosses said that he and his partner Natalie Lowe have to perform a Latin routine - his worst dance - this week.

Lowe begged studio bosses to let the duo do a ballroom number, which the cricketer has down pat.

The 32-year-old Australian dance pro told them that handing Vaughan a Latin dance will effectively kill their chances of winning.

But producers refused to budge and insisted that the duo practise Latin moves this week.

"Natalie hit the roof because she knows Michael is pretty useless at Latin," the Sun quoted a show source as saying.

"He's been one of the show's stand-out stars - but mainly because he has avoided doing anything that has caused him too much concern. Now that the L bomb has been dropped in his lap, Natalie is panicking that the game is finally up.

"She's been desperately trying to convince the producers to let them just perform a ballroom dance. But they're having none of it and have told her it's a no go," she said.

Vaughan is struggling to win over 'Strictly' viewers. Bookies have him as the favourite to be voted out this weekend. (ANI)
