London, Sept 3 (ANI): Premier League club Manchester United have signed Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini for 27.5 million pounds late on transfer deadline day, with the player having a release clause of 23.5 million pounds in his Everton deal.
According to the BBC, United boss David Moyes expressed that Fellaini was a player with great ability and strength and would make a real difference to the team.
The Belgian, who joined Everton from Standard Liege for 15 million pounds in 2008, was contracted to the Toffees until 2016, the report said.
Fellaini said that he was thrilled to sign for Manchester United and because he had known the manager for many years now, he had a lot of respect for his way of working, adding that when he was given the opportunity to work with Moyes again, he jumped at the chance. (ANI)
