Melbourne, October 21 (ANI): A man caught by the police has confessed that he had up to 90 Melbourne Bitter cans the day before he got caught drunk-driving.
The 51-year old man, Trevor Alexander Warren, who represented himself this week in the Bathurst Local Court in New South Wales, has been banned from driving for six months, News.com.au reported.
The Dundee Beach resident was pulled over by police at 6.14am on Monday at a random breath testing station, after they noticed the smell of alcohol coming from the car.
The Northern Territory man revealed that he had consumed 90 cans, which equates to drinking more than 33 liters of beer.
Warren's breath analysis recorded 0.108 which is more than double the legal limit as a result of which his license has been suspended for six months and has been fined 450 dollars. (ANI)
