Washington, June 20 (ANI): Americans disagree with President Barack Obama's views on the 'war on terrorism' as winding down, a new poll has revealed.

The Fox News Poll revealed that 77 percent of voters said that the war is ongoing and should continue to be a top priority of the government, as compared to 17 percent who feel the war is over and should be a lower priority.

Women are more aggressive than men to say that the government should keep the war against terrorism a top priority.

Nearly 53 percent majority of voters said that they view 'war on terrorism' as a figure of speech, like the 'war on drugs' and about four in ten view it as 'a real war', like World War II or Vietnam.

The poll also finds 72 percent of voters support the U.S. using military action to keep Iran from getting nuclear weapons.(ANI)
