Lack of development triggers Naxalism and violence, feels E. N. Rammohian, former DG, BSF

New Delhi, July 2 (ANI): Former Director General (DG) of the Border Security Force (BSF) E. N. Rammohan, said here today that incidents like the killings of seven policemen could happen anywhere so long as Naxalism is there.

E. N. Rammohan pointed out that there was no development in areas where Naxals are active . He said that the people in the Naxal affected area are fighting for their rights. "They have to be given their rights. They are fighting for their lives not anything else," said the former DG.

Meanwhile, two companies of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) have been rushed to Pakur to take control of the situation. (ANI)
