London, June 6 (ANI): Justin Bieber became the first person to hit the 40 million followers landmark on Twitter as he unveiled his new single 'Heartbreaker'.
The teen icon revealed the title and the cover art of the new song, which depicts a cupid firing his arrow of love at a broken heart, on Instagram with a string of captions, the Mirror reported.
Although the 'Boyfriend' hit maker didn't confirm whether the track would feature on his forthcoming studio album or the official release date, but the song did get 600k 'likes' within an hour of posting it.
In September 2009, the singer had thanked his measly 40 new followers, which had increased from just 2 fans, on the social networking website.
On Wednesday night he thanked his 40 million fans and said that he was grateful. (ANI)
