Islamabad, July 29 (ANI): The much-awaited visit of US Secretary of State John Kerry to Pakistan has been postponed once again due to security concerns.
Kerry was set to arrive in Islamabad on Sunday, but US authorities rescheduled his two-day visit at the last moment, citing security reasons.
Diplomatic sources confirmed that Kerry would certainly visit before Eid, without giving the exact date.
According to the Express Tribune, this is the second time Kerry's trip has being rescheduled. He was originally supposed to visit Pakistan in June.
Kerry will be the first high-ranking US official to visit Islamabad since Nawaz Sharif formed government. (ANI)
