Jayantabhai Ki LUV Story Music Review

By Abid, Glamsham Editorial

Close on the heels of the super success of their last film, RACE 2, which also happens to be the first major hit of the year 2013, comes a 'Valentine Winner' from the Tips Music Films and producer Kumar S. Taurani. Of course we are talking about the heartwarming entertaining romantic comedy, the Vivek-Neha starrer, JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY. The Vinni Markan directed venture has music by Sachin-Jigar, who are certainly the composers of the moment with quite a few albums, especially belonging to the rom-com genre to their credit, lately. Lyrics have been penned by Mayur Puri and Priya Panchal. Since Tips have a great musical legacy we do have high expectations from the audio which has already become quite popular amongst the online frequenters. So let's get the ball rolling and check out their latest offering!

Crisp guitar strums and Atif Aslam's intoxicating vocals set pace for a lovely soft rock based, racy romantic track, 'Hai Na' and Atif is well supported by Priya Panchal who joins in briefly towards the end. The rock arrangements and apt conversational lyrics are the icing on the cake, and this composition is definitely another probable Atif Aslam chartbuster.

Atif Aslam comes back for another superb breezy light romantic ditty, 'Dil Na Jaane Kyun' and this time giving him company is Anushka Manchanda. The highlight of the track is the superb racy rhythm that never slows down and of course Atif and the good heavy western musical arrangements, a number that will be patronized by the youth and should provide for a good club outing.

Shreya's honey sweet vocals delight senses in another excellent soft romantic track, 'Thoda Thoda' and Sachin provides able support. Shreya's superb voice modulations and the addictive chorus make for a uniquely delightful composition that has a good fusion of Hindustani and western. The lyrics too are sweet on the ears and though filmy, fit with the mood of the song.

Church like coir commence 'Aa Bhi Ja Mere Mehermaan' which is a serious, intense and passionate track that relies mostly on the Atif Aslam magic as the song has been tailor made for him. The desperate call for the beloved has been penned excellently as the pain of separation comes across beautifully in the lyrics and the apt music arrangements.

The spirit and mood of album is aptly titled 'Mashup' (JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY) as it is truly a superb mix of the all the four songs in the album and it has been done so very well that the end result is very interesting, and of course it's a unique effort from the composers.

Summing up, the music of JAYANTABHAI KI LUV STORY is a probable Valentine chartbuster. Composers Sachin-Jigarhave definitely carried forward the great musical legacy of the Tips Music Film. All the four songs make a mark straight away and are a good hear for sure, and would definitely help the film open well when it releases all over on 15th February, a day after Valentine Day.
