J Lo rakes in 9mln for Chilean miner movie, but survivors remain penniless

London, Sept. 15 (ANI): Jennifer Lopez will apparently be pocketing a staggering 9 million pounds for starring in an upcoming Chilean miners rescue flick, while the victims are still left empty handed.

The movie, entitled 'The 33', which also stars Antonio Banderas and Martin Sheen, revolves around the story of 33 men that were rescued from underground mines after 69 days in October 2010, the Daily Star reported.

A source told the publication that the singer is a big star and comes with a hefty price tag, but unfortunately a lot of the miners are incredibly poor.

The insider asserted that the victims of the incident were hoping the movie would help them live a better life, but so far all its done is left them feeling isolated once again. (ANI)
