Mumbai: Left-arm spinner Harmeet Singh, who made waves at the U-19 World Cup has been named in the Rest of India squad for the Irani Cup.
A media release from the BCCI, also mentioned that the Irani Cup fixture to be played between Ranji champions Rajasthan and the Rest of India would be played at Bangalore and not Jaipur, from September 21-25.
The All India Senior Selection Committee also picked the India ‘A’ and India ‘B’ teams for the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy.The NKP Salve Challenger Trophy will feature Bengal, the 2011-12 Vijay Hazare Trophy winners, plus India ‘A’ and India ‘B.’ The tournament will be played at Rajkot from September 29 to October 2 this year.
