New Delhi: India and Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli is known to wear his heart on his sleeves. And even though RCBâs journey in the current edition of the IPL has not gone according to plan, Kohli has backed his boys with a latest post on Instagram where he says that ups and downs are a part of life and one should embrace the lows just like one celebrates the highs.
Kohliâs post read: âWord 👌👏#embracelife.â

Kohli has always spoken about how he plays to win and with that comes the risk of losing. But playing safe has never been Kohliâs style. And even this year, he has tried his best to lead RCB from the front.
But unfortunately, the results havenât come with RCB reeling at the seventh spot with just 2 wins in 9 games. A wash-out against Sunrisers Hyderabad didnât help the Bangalore franchiseâs case either.
While the team has failed to shine with either bat or ball, Kohli still believes that playing positive cricket is the only way forward.
âWe need to get better with our performances. You got to come out and play with intent. We tried to do it with the bat. The only way to come out of it is to play positive cricket. We are putting too much pressure on the team. Individuals need to stand up and take responsibility,â he said after the loss to Gujarat Lions on Thursday night.
