New Delhi: Few days after former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly's Indian Premier League (IPL) XI was making the rounds on social media, dada has come out and cleared the air by saying that he hasn't made any fantasy team for this edition of the league and the one which is going around the internet is fake.
The official handle of the IPL fantasy league posted an image on Twitter, showing Ganguly's team of the season so far. However, the biggest talking point of the image was that there was no place for former India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
But Ganguly has now denied making such a team and also said that he never participates in fantasy leagues. Dada's twitter post read: "Hi all ..just saw an ipl fantasy team on my name ..it's not my twitter account nor my team ..it's fake ..I dnt participate in fantsy leagues"

Dhoni was the biggest absentee from the list and what made it believable was the fact that few days ago, Ganguly had made it clear that Dhoni was no longer a force to reckon with in the game.
Commenting on Dhoni, Ganguly had said: âI am not too sure if MSâDhoni is a good T20 player. He is a champion ODI player but when it comes to Twenty20 cricket, in 10 years, he has got one fifty and thatâs not the best record.â
