Medium pacer Sandeep Sharma wreaked havoc against Delhi Daredevils at the IS Bindra Stadium on Sunday by picking up his best bowling figures in the Indian Premier League.
Sandeep ended the match with stunning figures of 4/20 in four overs that helped Punjab bundle out Delhi for 67 â which is the third lowest in IPL history.
Delhi had the worst start possible as opener Sam Billings was dismissed in the first over of the innings itself by Sandeep. The Englishman edged a wide delivery outside the off-stump and it was easily caught by wicket-keeper Wriddhhiman Saha.
In his next over, Sandeep removed in-form batsman Sanju Samson who gave an easy catch to Mohit Sharma at mid-off.
Sandeep wasn't done yet as he dismissed Shreyas Iyer for 6 to further peg back Delhi. The 23-year-old pulled-off a stunning one hand catch off his own bowling to send Iyer back.
Rabada became Sandeep's fourth scalp of the innings as he gave away an easy catch to Shaun Marsh who was fielding at long-on.
Sandeep played a starring role in restricting Delhi for 67, which KXIP chased down without even breaking a sweat.
