Kolkata, Dec 5 (ANI): England got early breakthrough as Virender Sehwag was run out for 23 on the first day of the third Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Wednesday after captain MS Dhoni won the toss and chose to bat.
After 14 overs, India's score is 54 for one with Gautam Gambhir and Cheteshwar Pujara trying to rebuild the innings.
Ishant Sharma came in place of Harbhajan Singh, as India reverted to their two-quicks, two-spinners policy.
Ishant comes in for his first Test in more than ten months.
England brought in Ian Bell and Steven Finn in place of Jonny Bairstow and Stuart Broad.
MS Dhoni would be under pressure to salvage their reputation as India now have lost five of the six Tests they have played against England in the last 15 months.
