Johannesburg, Aug 21 (ANI): India A have beaten South Africa A by an innings and 13 runs in the first unofficial four-day Test match at Olympia Park in Rustenburg on Tuesday.
According to Sport24, SA A were bowled out for 212 after being made to follow on from their first innings score of 357 this morning, and were outplayed by an all-round performance with the ball from India A.
Ishwar Pandey registered match figures of seven for 71, and led the attack with his skill and consistency, the report said.
India A captain and man of the match, Cheteshwar Pujara, complemented his bowlers and the way they adapted to the conditions, the report added.
Pujara said that for winning a Test match, a team needed 20 wickets and to manage that in two days in those conditions was fantastic.
He said that the team's experience of playing in similar Indian conditions had helped.
The second and final match starts on Saturday at the Tuks Cricket Oval in Pretoria, the report further said.
