India 371/6 at tea

Chennai, Feb 24 (IANS) India were 371/6 in their first innings at tea on the third day of the first cricket Test match against Australia at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium here Sunday.

Skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ravichandran Ashwin were batting at 97 and 3, respectively, at the end of the post-lunch session.

Virat Kohli (107) got out after scoring his fourth century.

India were still nine runs short of the Australia first innings total of 380.
