Hulk Hogan refiles $100m sex tape lawsuit

Washington, Jan. 5 (ANI): Hulk Hogan has refiled the 100-million-dollar lawsuit against a website that posted his sex tape online, after he withdrew the case last month.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, dismissed the lawsuit against Gawker in federal court without prejudice last month, but refiled it in Florida state court, where he's also suing his sex tape partner Heather Clem - former wife of radio personality Bubba the Love Sponge.

According to the former sportsperson's lawyer, the 6ft 7in wrestling star dismissed the federal case in order to bring both cases under the same roof, which meant less paperwork and attorney's fees, reported.

Hogan sued Gawker last October for posting a minute-long clip of him having sex with Clem - a tape recorded more than 6 years ago.

He had earlier sued Bubba for unspecified damages - accusing him of leaking the clip to the media - but that case was settled, and Bubba apologized on the air. (ANI)
