Gopalganj, Jan. 3: Deepa, 27, the wife of indigenous medical practitioner Nandu Kumar Ram was killed allegedly by the relatives of her husband at Charkarhi village under the jurisdiction of Kateya police station on Wednesday night.
Deepa had submitted a petition to senior superintendent of police Natasha Gudia at her janata durbar last week fearing that she would be killed. The body has been sent for autopsy.
Araria: Three minors from Bengal, were rescued from the Bhargama area while being forcibly taken to Nepal on Thursday. A 22-year-old youth, identified as Dharmendra Dhami, was also arrested in this connection.
