Harris backs Johnson to settle score against England with 'scary swing' tactics in winter Ashes

Sydney, Nov 1 (ANI): Australian pace spearhead Ryan Harris has predicted that fast bowler Mitchell Johnson will scare England with his swing in the winter Ashes series in the same way he has been doing to India in Australia's ongoing ODI campaign.

The 51-Test left-armer, who has scores to settle against Alastair Cook's tourists, will almost certainly replace injured Mitchell Starc in Australia's first Test side at the Gabba from November 21 despite managing four Tests in two years.

According to News.com.au, Harris backed Johnson, who toiled for six wickets at 50 in losing Melbourne and Sydney Tests against England three years ago, to avenge his 'unfinished Ashes business' against the 'Old Enemy' by making them jump around scared in Australian wickets like he did to India in their own flat one-day wickets.

Harris further said that he would love to bowl in a partnership with Johnson and Peter Siddle again and bring success to Australia in the Ashes like they did in the 2010 Test win at the WACA, where he shared 18 wickets with Johnson. (ANI)
