Glastonbury 2014 tickets sell out in 'record' one hour and 27 minutes

London, Oct. 7 (ANI): Tickets for next year's Glastonbury Festival have sold out in record time of one hour and 27 minutes, organisers have revealed.

Organisers of Glastonbury Fest Michael and Emily Eavis said that they were "blown away" by the people logging on and were sorry that so many had to miss out on tickets, the BBC reported.

A statement by the father and daughter Eavis team was posted on the festival's own Twitter feed, saying that they try to make the ticket system as fair as it can be, but when demand outstrips supply, it's an unfortunate inevitability that some people will be left disappointed. (ANI)
