Gionee, a Chinese handset vendor, has announced a new smartphone under its E-life series with E-Life E5. The phone gets a 1.5 GHz quad core processor and is very slim at 6.85 mm thickness. The phone gets a 4.8 inch HD Super Amoled display at 306 PPi with 1280 x 720 pixel screen resolution and is based on Android Jelly Bean v4.2. E-Life E5 comes with a 5 megapixel full HD front camera and an 8 megapixel BSI rear camera.
E5 is powered by a 2000 mAh battery. For better sound output the phone comes with an in-built Digital Theatre System (DTS) and 3D surround system. E5 comes with an in-built memory of 16 GB and supports a 32 GB micro SD card as well. It will be available in three colors including yellow, graphite black and white. The Gionee E5 will be priced at Rs 19,999.
