Gazza will 'die very soon' fears pal Piers Morgan

London, July 15 (ANI): England football legend Paul Gascoigne, who is battling with alcoholism, will die very soon, pal Piers Morgan fears.

The broadcaster, however, dismissed claims he wasted his cash on Gazza's US rehab. Piers and a host of Gazza's celebrity friends paid 6,000 pounds a week to send him to a top rehab clinic in Arizona in February.

According to the Daily Star, Morgan said that he bought him at least a few more months of life following his healing at the rehabilitation.

He said that he felt terrible because Paul is so ill that he just can't stop himself feeding his addiction, adding that it is highly likely that if he continues the way he's going, he will die very soon.

Shocking pictures of Gazza have emerged showing him back on the booze days after he was arrested for allegedly hitting ex- wife Sheryl in a drunken rage.

He said that his hopes crashed and burned when after seeing the terrible images and read reports of him allegedly lashing out at his long-suffering ex- wife, the report added. (ANI)
