New Delhi, Jan 15 (ANI): A thick blanket of fog enveloped the national capital on Tuesday morning, reducing visibility on the streets and severely disrupting air and rail traffic.

The visibility at the Indira Gandhi International Airport dropped to about 50 metres, due to which the operations of 10 flights were delayed this morning.

According to the Northern Railway officials, several Delhi bound trains are reported to be running late due to the late arrival of trains.

However, Delhiites got some respite from the chilly weather as the mercury remains at normal level.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature was recorded at 21 degree Celsius while the minimum settled at 6.9 degree Celsius. (ANI)
