Five killed assembling IED in Pakistan

Islamabad, Jan 23 (IANS) At least five suspected militants were killed and three others injured in a bomb blast in Pakistan's tribal region of Orakzai Agency Wednesday, a media report said.

The blast occurred when the suspected militants were assembling an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a house in the agency, located about 60 km from Peshawar and lying close to the Afghanistan border, Xinhua reported.

The blast killed all those present in the house on the spot while badly injuring others.
