Bangladesh fast bowler Mashrafe Mortaza believes his team is better placed now than in previous competitions due to the same set of players playing together and gaining experience.
Mortaza is hopeful that an experienced line-up will cause an upset in the Twenty20 World Cup since the team has settled well now.
The Asian nation has not fared well in previous editions, but Mashrafe thinks the current squad is well placed for an upset when they take on New Zealand in their tournament opener on September 21.
"I think the squad has a more settled look," the Express Tribune quoted Mortaza, as saying.
"We're mostly playing the same set of players. The experienced members are performing. I don't like to make comparisons but this team has definitely played more games and has more Twenty20 experience," he added.
