Karachi, Apr 17 (ANI): Experienced Pakistan wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal has admitted that he is afraid that his brother Adnan may snatch away the post of the keeper from him in the future, adding that he is not worried about any other contenders to the position.
The 31-year old, who has over 400 victims in all formats at the international level, further said that his brother has shown glimpses of being a good wicket-keeper-batsman, for which he is afraid that Adnan may be the choice of the selectors during any selection at the future, the Express Tribune reports.
According to Akmal, the role of a wicket-keeper has been extended, adding that the selectors are looking at picking a wicket-keeper who can bat well.
However, the report further said that Akmal, who has the highest number of victims behind the stumps in the all-time list of Pakistan wicket-keepers, is the best choice for selectors for limited-overs cricket because of his versatile batting, which gives him an edge over others. (ANI)
