Evra unhappy with betting odds writing off Man U in EPL title race

London, Aug 19 (ANI): Manchester United player Patrice Evra is taken aback by the fact that the club has been almost written off in this season's Premier League title race.

According to metro.co.uk, despite getting their 20th championship with four games to spare last term, then finishing 11 points ahead of their nearest rivals Manchester City, United were only third favourites with the majority of bookmakers.

That situation remains the same, even after the 4-1 win at Swansea, with Chelsea and City tipped to fight it out for the main prize, the report said.

Evra said that it was not just the case in this season but every year and it was unbelievable how people said that Man U would finish fourth or fifth in the league.

The player said that the win against Swansea was a message for the club's opponents that Moyes wanted to win. (ANI)
