London, Jan. 8 (ANI): Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has hit back at the club's critics, claiming all their Premier League rivals are built on money.
Aguero is angry that Manchester City's success has been dismissed by people as being all down to Sheikh Mansour's millions.
He said that it is wrong to single out City, and added that every top team in the world, apart from Barcelona, has gained success with expensive signings.
According to the Mirror, Aguero said that City has not received proper credit for their overhauling an eight-point lead against United in the final six games that made them win last season's Premier League title.
According to the report, City have been criticized for failing to recreate their dazzling performance of last season when they banged in 93 goals in their 38 games.
They have managed only 41 so far in 21 games, 13 less than United.
Aguero claims there is no reason for City fans to be worried and blamed injuries for their dip in form. (ANI)
