Dilshan says Lanka holds impetus over Australia

Sydney, Jan 15 (ANI): Tillakaratne Dilshan has claimed the momentum is Sri Lanka ahead of the third one-day against Australia in Brisbane on Friday, due to their comprehensive eight-wickets win in Adelaide.

Sri Lanka is aware of a poor record in the finals of one-day, Twenty20 World Cups and triangular series finals, now set on excelling in a big game environment at the Gabba, News.com.au reports.

Dilshan said Sri Lanka has always played good cricket, but unfortunately lost too many finals not just here in Australia but in the World Cups too, adding that it is an area they should improve.

Sri Lanka level series in style

Dilshan added that they have the momentum now and should finish the series strongly, on a high note, and added that the Brisbane ODI is a crucial match for both teams.

Dilshan believes if Sri Lanka wins in Brisbane then they have a strong chance to win the series.

Sunday night's victory revived a touring unit hammered 3-0 in the Test series by Michael Clarke's men and by 107 runs in the one-day series opener in Melbourne.
