Islamabad, Nov. 10 (ANI): Former Australian batsman Dean Jones has said that he is really curious to find out as to what master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar would do after he retires from the sport.
During an interview with Pakpassion.net, Jones said that it isn't possible to pinpoint the time when Tendulkar may possibly think of quitting the sport, as he, just like Ricky Ponting, loves playing the game and being involved in the 'team environment'.
"They just want to play. They still enjoy the battle of the young kid trying to kill them and knock them over, being involved in a team environment, winning World Cups and series. So good luck to him and better health to him," Jones told Pakpassion.
"The interesting thing for me is what Sachin is going to do after his cricket career. Will he become a coach? What will he plan on doing? I'd be interested to see what his thinking is," he added.
However, Jones said there will come a day when Tendulkar will know that he doesn't want to play anymore, and that day would happen soon.
"From the greats of the past you'll know, you wake up in the morning, it'll hit you like a brick, you don't want to play. The question mark is that Sachin or Ricky haven't had that bomb hit them. But, it'll come and it'll come at lightning speed," he said. (ANI)
