Deal ahoy! Special offer on cruise packages

The ultra-luxury cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises has announced a slew of tempting packages. You can set sail from Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, or Miami on seven-night voyages, which include exotic, lesser-known ports of call.

Packages start at US$3,487 per head (approx Rs2,08,000), which will get you a Monte Carlo-to-Venice voyage with halts at Rome, Sorrento/Capri, Sicily, Ancona (Italy), Corfu (Greece) and Dubrovnik (Croatia). The ship sets sail on October 24 2013.

However, if you’re in urgent need for pampering, you can hop on to the Barcelona to Rome cruise, which sets off on 22 August 2013. This voyage will include stops at Palma de Mallorca (Spain), Monte Carlo (Monaco), Marseille and Saint Tropez (France), Portofino and Livorno (Italy). Fare for this cruise starts from US$4,012 per head (approx Rs2,40,000). The other voyages are: Monte Carlo to Athens (18 September 2013); Rome to Monte Carlo (6 October and 17 October 2013); Miami to Miami (11 November 2013). Fare is inclusive of onboard gratuities and government taxes.

Comfort is guaranteed on these voyages—Regent Seven Seas Cruises has suite-only accommodation on all its ships. Further, each suite comes with its own private balcony and all mod cons. Your package also includes unlimited excursions at exotic ports of call, dining at speciality restaurants, and a steady supply of fine wines, premium spirits, and other beverages throughout the cruise. Guests at the higher-end suites will also have a butler service, iPad, binoculars, Hermès amenities, among other things.

With no more than 700 guests on any ship, you can rest assured you won’t have to jostle for space at the on-board gym or wait endlessly for your turn at the ocean-view putting greens.
