David Haye aiming to become next Arnie

London, Dec 20 (ANI): David Haye is enrolling himself in acting classes so that he can transform himself into the next Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"I've always said within five years I want to be a well- established actor. You always have to have a plan. If you don't have a plan, where are you gonna go?" the Sun quoted him as saying.

"Five years is a long time, but you have to put your foot down. I'm going to be starting acting lessons soon, in 2013. I'll put my heart and soul into becoming the best actor I can be, like I did with boxing.

"You can't expect not to train then become world champion, just like you can't expect not to train as an actor and become a great actor," he said.

Haye, who came third in the most recent series of 'I'm A Celebrity,' has been sent various scripts but none, as yet, have tempted him.

"I've already talked to a few big movie producers. I don't want to say too much about it but I have had a few offers to do different things. Nothing has been right for me yet," he said.

He wants to learn his craft first before he tries to copy the careers of sportsmen-turned-actors like bodybuilder Arnie, wrestler "The Rock" and Jason Statham.

Haye, whose fitness video Box And Tone is out on December 31, said: "The Rock did it, even Jason Statham - he used to be a diver, so he comes from sport as well and they're all brilliant actors. Particularly The Rock.

"What these guys are doing is transcending from one sport to another or one field to another.

"I'd love that challenge, to be the best in one field then try to go and do the same in another field," he added. (ANI)
