Current, ex-Arsenal stars 'leak' Puma kit before official release

London, Oct 9 (ANI): A British former Olympic sprinting champion had reportedly posted a picture of himself along with former and current Arsenal stars on Twitter, with the stars wearing a kit which is set to be officially released next year.

1992 100m Olympic Gold medallist Linford Christie posted a picture of himself with former Arsenal star Thierry Henry and current stars Olivier Giroud and Bacary Sagna, with Henry and Giroud wearing Puma-made Arsenal uniforms, which the company is set to produce from next season.

According to The Independent, Puma had agreed to a Premier League record 30 million pounds-per-year deal with Arsenal to supply them kit merchandise, adding that the club will end their 20-year relationship with Nike after Puma takes over the task from next summer.

The report mentioned that Christie was quick to delete the picture off his account, leading to further rumours that this kit could be a genuine one. (ANI)
