London, Feb. 9 (ANI): Couples lose the dating buzz, prefer sleep over sex and stop saying 'I love you,' after just three and six months into their marriage, a new poll has revealed.
A poll of 2,000 married adults showed that after three and a half years of wedded bliss, cuddling up on the sofa in the evening is a thing of the past, with couples more likely to go to bed at different times.
And by this time in a relationship, it is more likely that the couples will eat at different times, sit in different rooms and tune out of a talk in favour of watching TV, the Daily Mail reported.
The study commissioned by Co-operative Food, also found that appearance took a turn for the worse, with many dressing down in tracksuit bottoms or pyjamas before their spouses get home.
Not bothering with make-up and ditch matching underwear in favour of granny pants also becomes common place after that time frame.
This is the stage when familiarity with one another leads to forgetting events like wedding anniversaries, Valentine's Day, Christmas and even birthdays.
Couples also lapse to being more interested in spending time with their pals than with each other. (ANI)
