New Delhi, July 14 -- As the Delhi and District Cricket Association's (DDCA) new Sports Working Committee gets ready to take charge after wiping out Vinod Tihara group that lasted for 10 years, there are expected to be changes.
The new committee will review the state's selection committee panel following a poor show by various Delhi teams in the Ranji Trophy and age-group tournaments. Also, the issue of the size of the official entourage that accompanies teams is likely to be taken up.
"There have been as many as four managers accompanying Ranji teams," said a senior official. Among other issues will be a cap on the number of players that can play for Delhi during a season.
"If you see the current India U-19 team, there is no one from Delhi when the senior team has so many probables. That's because, no one player got a prolonged opportunity through the season."
