Sydney, June 17 (ANI): Australian captain Michael Clarke has said it is time to move on from David Warner's indiscretion.
Clarke said Warner's brawl with England cricketer Joe Root in a Birmingham bar will be his last indiscretion.
Cricket Australia has suspended Warner for a month and fined 11,500 dollars as penalty for breaching its code of conduct.
According to the Herald Sun, Clarke said after all that has happened over the past week the team was looking forward to playing some cricket.
He added that after missing the first two matches he was desperate to play and he was doing everything in his power to be right for the game.
He said that Warner's bar room altercation with Root was unacceptable, and he is well aware of that.
The whole episode has been an unwelcome distraction at the beginning of a four-and-a-half month tour.
He added that he has made it clear to Warner that his behaviour is not acceptable for an Australian cricketer. (ANI)
