Chelsea's 'failed' tactical secrets for Club World Cup final found in 'garbage bin'

London, Dec 19(ANI): European champions Chelsea's tactical plans, which they used during their defeat in the Club World Cup final defeat against South American champions Corinthians, have been found out in the garbage bin of their dressing room on Sunday, according to reports.

According Brazilian website Globoesporte, the rescued crumpled up bits of paper, show details of how Chelsea were to approach both attacking and defensive corners, who was to mark who when defending and how to signal what type of corner the taker was about to send over.

"Among sandwiches, energy drinks and broken sports equipment, the British left in the dressing room simple notes about [Corinthians] and detailed explanations of what each player should do at set pieces," the Telegraph quoted Globoesporte, as saying.

If nothing else, the fact that Fernando Torres has a prime role in defending at set pieces suggests his work on the training ground that so pleased interim manager Rafa Benitez must still be going well. (ANI)
