"I am extremely pleased that the IOC is willing to clean up Indian sports," Bindra was quoted as saying by a TV channel Saturday.

"All of us would like to have officials who care about Indian sports and put athletes foremost in their minds," said India's only individual Olympic gold medallist .

Bindra was part of sports ministrys' delegation which visited the IOC headquarters in Lausanne with an aim to get the suspended India back into the Olympic fold.
