Biggest misconceptions about single people revealed

Washington, July 21 (ANI): Have you ever thought of single people being lonely, miserable and secretly wishing to be coupled up?

To beat these beliefs about single life, Huffington Post compiled a list of the most outrageous examples, which were offered by their Twitter and Facebook followers.

One Joanne Gruber-Levien gave the first misconception, saying that she wasn't getting "any".

Another, David Hartland wrote that single people are believed to be desperate.

A Tracy Sacks explained that she hated being judged during her single days and was once told that she was very secure even though she didn't have a boyfriend.

One Sandy Weiner wrote that being single is said to be a disease to be cured.

Charlene Hennika said that just because she is not dating, doesn't mean she's lonely.

While, Maya Perez said that being without a partner is thought as being lonely, fragile and independent. (ANI)
